If you want to convert DMG to ISO, it's good to learn a little about disk image file types and what they're meant for. ISO images are typically used to store optical disk images and could be used to burn CDs, DVDs or Blu-Ray disks. ISO is a file extension used by disk image files stored in ISO 9660 or UDF (ISO/IEC 13346) file formats. Be sure to change both of those lines in the command below. Keep in mind that /path/to/imagefile.dmg is the exact location of the DMG file on your Linux computer, and /path/to/imagefile.iso is the location you’d like to save the new macOS ISO file.
